| ICWIS09 organizing
committee invites you to participate in the International
Conference to be held in Chennai, India on January
8-10, 2009.
The World-Wide Web continues to grow and new technologies,
modes of interactions and applications are being
developed. Web Intelligence offers a new direction
for scientific research and development that goes
beyond basic information retrieval and knowledge
queries. New research challenges need to be addressed
in the areas of managing web content and in the
organization and integration of information from
different sources. Innovative and novel uses of
the Web and Web resources need to be adapted to
create a distributed intelligent environment.

ICWIS09 aims to provide a cutting-edge international
forum for both researchers and industry professionals
to exchange ideas and views on the latest technological
advances and applications of intelligent methods for
the next generation of the Web. The conference would
provide opportunity to discuss the practical challenges
encountered and the solutions adopted for Web empowered
systems, products and services.
Authors both from India and overseas are invited to
submit original unpublished manuscripts or reports that
demonstrate current research and practice in the area
of Web Intelligence. Previously unpublished papers describing
original research contribution are solicited.

To
submit an original research paper or report, send your
extended abstract including the key references (not to
exceed THREE double-spaced pages of text using the ‘Times
New Roman’ font with 12 point size type on 8.5 x
11 inch page or A4 Size) and full papers to the Program
Chair.
Electronic submissions are preferred and should be uploaded
at the website. Electronic submissions must be in the
form of a readable PDF or DOC file containing following
header information: title, author name(s), abstract, postal
address, email address, telephone and fax numbers. The
header should be followed by the complete manuscript that
includes title, author's name, affiliation, extended abstract
and key references.
Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings.
At least one author of each accepted paper is required
to register for the conference and present the paper. |
