Industry Projects for REC Students

IIPC closely interact with various industries to offer challenging and innovative projects for students.

The purpose of these projects are to engage the students and faculty members (internal guides) with Industry experts to understand the challenges and needs from the industry so that students can prepare and shape their knowledge, skills and hands-on in the respective tool/software or subject area.

Students Project Pool

This academic year 47 students (Top students from III and IV year) from various departments of the colleges are chosen to be part of the project pool. Every department assigns faculty member who work as an internal guide for the project.

The first project kick off meeting and knowledge sharing session was conducted on July 18th 2008 in our college campus.

Mr. Madhu Venkat, Vice President, Product Development, FireStreams Worldwide addressed the students.

The second project planning meeting will be held in the campus during August 1st or 2nd week.

The third project analysis/feasibility study meeting will be held in the company itself. The students and staff members will get a chance to visit the company and meet up with folks working in FireStream and get advices to proceed further to work on this project.

There are few other companies are also in the pipeline and the same student project pool or another set of students may get a chance to work on other industry projects.
